Laurie is a seasoned entrepreneurial executive with extensive expertise in growing technology companies over her 35-year career, including New Focus (now Newport Corporation), Silicon Valley Group (now ASML), and Raychem (now nVent).
At Raychem, she helped establish the water leak detection market 30 years ago and has a proven record of successfully bringing new products and technologies to market.
She is skilled in raising capital and loves to help customers solve big problems.
Laurie graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA in General Management, Stanford University with an MSE in Environmental Engineering and Duke University with a BSE in Civil & Environmental Engineering and French.
She sits on the Board of Directors of NV5 Global, a publicly traded engineering services firm based in Hollywood, Florida.
Matt brings 25 years of experience in various aspects of the commercial restoration and construction industry.
In 2004, Matt realized the need for a smoke alarm for water and created the forerunner to what is now The Detection Group, Inc. Currently an executive leader in the company, Matt focuses on business development and helping customers and potential customers to learn more about the Trident System. Matt is the RMO for The Detection Group’s Class B CSLB License.
He has a Business Administration degree from San Diego State University.
Mark brings deep experience building global businesses, increasing revenue 5x-10x, opening new markets, and forging strategic relationships. He has led enterprises with products and services spanning e-commerce, digital rights management, electronic software licensing, touch feedback subsystems, and operating systems software.
Previously, Mark was COO of restaurant e-commerce company E la Carte, SVP and General Manager at Macrovision Corporation (now TIVO), VP/GM at Immersion Corporation, SVP Corporate Development at HarvestMark, and cofounder of Interop Company and IDG Electronic Marketplace Systems.
Mark earned a BA in Business Administration from Wayne State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Glen, with a proven ability to not only design computer systems, but to elegantly integrate those systems with other technological devices, has been with The Detection Group since its inception.
He focuses his time single-mindedly on ensuring we are always the best-in-class, commercial-grade wireless water leak detection system available.
Glen graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Computer Engineering.
Rich brings more than 20 years of Operations and Field Service Management expertise with a laser focus on the Customer Experience to The Detection Group. Prior to his current role, Rich served as Field Service Operations Manager of the West Region at Black Box, where over the course of his career, he led his team to all-time high output and service levels. Rich began his professional path at Charles River Associates, Inc., where promotions led to his role as Global Manager of Telecommunications for the international economic consulting firm, overseeing systems and staff on three continents.
Kelsie is a data-driven marketer with planning, creative, and account management advertising agency experience in highly competitive, technology-driven businesses. Her experience combines the strategic application of both traditional marketing and digital/social media to ensure messaging reaches all critical, high-value targets in dynamic marketplaces. Kelsie is a graduate of Colorado State University with a dual BA in Communication and Political Science. She has also received an advanced study Certificate of Advertising from the University of Colorado.
